At Kangaroo Athletics / Kangaroo Track Club, jumpers train not only to get better, but most importantly to understand that as they get better they attract the attention and admiration of people in their community. With that comes a great social responsibility to themselves and everyone around them. The Kangaroo TC high, long, and triple jump winter camps schedule for 2012 are out!!
For a 7th consecutive year, Kangaroo TC will host High, Long and Triple Jump Winter Camps (commuter) in Orchard, TX (by Houston) and in Eagan, Minnesota.
The camps are on a first come first serve basis. Please do not forget to register early (6 athlete's maximum per group/ session). If the camps are full or the dates of the camps are conflicting with your schedule, 1 on 1 lessons are always available.

Another season has passed and Kangaroo Track Club would like to congratulate everyone that jumped with us this year. Over the past 6 years, KTC is proud to have coached state champions from MN (multiple), WI (multiple), MI, IL, GA, TX, and AL, along with state qualifiers in several other states. Congratulations on a great season to all jumpers!!
We will start the pre-season training for next year in September at our new outdoor training center in Orchard, TX.

For decades high, long, and triple jumpers have always struggled to find good, stable, professional, and safe places to train all year around, a place where the jumpers did not have to share the facility with other sports like football, baseball, lacrosse etc... Kangaroo TC worked very hard for 6 years in order to accomplish this goal, and with great pleasure we would like to announce that Kangaroo TC found a permanent place in Orchard TX (West Houston area). The 2.8 acres outdoor facility will be the first and only privately owned high, long and triple jump facility in the US where athletes will be able to train all year around in a training facility made for THE JUMPS with the best all year around weather that south Texas can offer. Construction of the training areas will start after the first week of May and we are planning to have the high, long and triple jumps summer camps there and maybe a few meets.
We would like to thank the Kangaroo TC family for their great support through the years, this dream would have been impossible without you. Wherever you are, please come and visit us. This is where the lights of the jumps area will always be ON for you (please see video), come home and jump with us! :)
